Medical Apparel Sales Manager @ Woodville Surplus Business Card

We were asked to design a business card that could represent both the department (Medical Apparel) and the store (Woodville Surplus — Army Navy Surplus Store). Our concepts all involved old WWII propaganda posters that related to the medical field. Most, utilizing the nurses of the Red Cross. After many concepts and discussions, this was what we came up with.

The client was ecstatic with the outcome — Her exact words were, “I really think they are cool!!! Thanks so much!”

Cleary Cougar - Sports Logo

Updated Cleary University Cougar sports logo for upcoming promotional materials and swag.

After many brainstorming sessions — it was determined that the logo should have a more “military” look, while still keeping with the color identity of Cleary University. The logo chosen utilizes a dog tag as the main focus in Cleary red with a gray dog tag for contrast. The dog tags are still encompassed by the diamonds, the name of the armed forces and organization.

Print pieces designed for the Army Navy Military Expo held at the Tuscany Suites and Casino, Las Vegas, NV from January 15 – 18, 2o12.

David Castlegrant and Associates was commissioned by Cleary University to develop a logo for the Student Veterans Association. After four long weeks and three different compositions, the winner was chosen. We wanted it to mean something for Cleary and to the veterans attending the university. We went with the Cleary “blue and red” with the Cougar mascot in the center. There are twenty-one diamonds encompassing the Cougar to represent the twenty-one gun salute — which is the highest honor given to any military or foreign dignitary. We’ve also added all branches of the armed forces along with the name of the school and association.

Holiday postcard created for Woodville Surplus of Oregon, OH. The postcard was designed around the theme of an old WWII correspondance. We then illustrated the Woodville Surplus storefront, Santa and his reindeer. The back features polaroid shots of the store that were made to look “weathered” and a coupon for a discounted purchase.

Finished a project for Joe’s Army Navy, we created a new holiday postcard design. Our services were also utilized for the mail merge, printing and mailing of the postcard.

After months of work, we are excited to show off our new site. In addition to the new look — we will also be utilizing our blog to provide information for entrepreneurs to help better their business!
