Mr. Brannen’s 20 year career background spans regional economic development, international business, corporate finance, project management, community banking and university teaching.
Today, he is the Director of the Cleary University Micro-Business Incubator, is a professor in their Business Management School, and is a senior associate with DCA & Associates.
In this role, he assists organizations and passionate entrepreneurs in perfecting their business plans and investment grade proposals, contemporary and not so contemporary management issues, organizational development requests, and guiding their growth, turnaround and workout strategies as well.
Oftentimes when presidents of companies find that they have gotten into “snags,” Mr. Brannen will provide them with a confidential “snap shot of reality” and identify timely, resourceful and cost effective solutions.
He has a demonstrated success propelling entrepreneurial start-ups and turning around midsize companies, as well as leading regional and global organizations. He has directly managed up to 1,200+ employees with operating budgets in excess of $500 million. He possesses outstanding presentation, communication, and cross-cultural team management skills, has an entrepreneurial attitude, energy and style.
Mr. Brannen has an MBA degree specializing in finance and organizational development, and a BA in Economics.
